The Pinelands Jazz Festival will be returning to Medford, NJ for another great weekend of food, fun and great music on Friday, September 16th through Sunday, September 18th. There are events on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, so why not come spend a weekend in the Pines?
The weekend kicks off on Friday evening, September 16th with “A Friday Night in Paris”, held at the historic Braddock’s Tavern at 39 South Main Street in Medford. The Hot Club of Philadelphia will be playing jazz inspired by Django Reinhart while you dine on butlered hors d’oeuvres and enjoy a two hour open bar in the elegant Colonial Room at Braddock’s Tavern.
On Saturday the fun continues on Main Street Medford where the Pinelands Jazz Festival will host a stage as part of the “Taste of Medford & Oktoberfest” run by the Medford Business Association. Area restaurants and local wineries and breweries will take over South Main Street for this annual event along with family friendly activities. M-Town Jazz Jam plays from 12 to 2:30 PM in the gazebo and then Michelle Lordi with Mike Frank on keys provides the entertainment from 2:30 to 5 PM.
On Sunday September 18th the Pinelands Jazz Festival moves 4 miles down the road to YMCA Camp Ockanickon at 1303 Stokes Road, Medford, NJ. Sunday’s events will be held in the heart of the Pinelands at the over-century old Camp Ockanickon (ycamp.org) located among the Pines on beautiful Lake Stockwell in Medford, NJ
